LP Turns 40!

We were honored to celebrate our 40th year with the people who make this place so delightful. To see the generations of employees toast together was an absolute wonder. We reminisced fondly about all the floors we’ve mopped, the bread we’ve mixed, the croissants we formed and the customers we’ve greeted. Through the mundane and the countless adventures, we know the power of simple food and good people.

As we celebrated this milestone, we can’t go without saying a heartfelt merci beaucoup to our customers. Longtime regulars and new friends, we do this bakery thing for you. To see that we are a part of so many traditions and moments in life big and small is truly an honor. Here’s to many more years together celebrating the taste of France and Seattle food.

Salut!
Kristi Drake & Thierry Mougin

P.S. We couldn’t have thrown this party without some of our favorite vendors. Merci!

A curtained Photo Booth was a highlight of the evening and bakers and baristas reconnected. Merci beaucoup to 321 Foto!

Kaspar’s Catering provided the wonderful food and desserts. From duck confit to pavlova, their careful attention to the menu was magnifique.

Toasting in Pioneer Square at The 101 was the perfect setting - old town Seattle at its finest. At our 40th fête, seasonal flowers were beautifully arranged by Brier and Ivy. Slow food and slow flowers are meant to go hand in hand.
