FAQs

What are your most popular items?

For croissants, our most popular is absolutely our Amandine & Pain au Chocolat. Nothing quite compares to these classics. If you’re looking for something savory, our Jambon Mornay (ham and cheese croissant) and our Champignon (mushroom puff pastry) are the winners for most popular. For something sweet, our Éclair Pistache and Macaron Pistache are both at the top of the list.

What are some underrated items at Le Panier?

Our Friand is a hidden gem. It’s a petit butter cake with almonds and vanilla. So simple and so delicious. Chouquettes are also such a delight. They are light and with just a bit of sugar its a perfect snack to wander the market with.

Do you serve pastries?

Yes, we are so proud of the pâtisseries in our pastry case. From Napoléons to Éclairs to Macarons we love these classics. But we also love to introduce some other new French classics. Throughout the year, we highlight a different dessert. We call it ‘Bakers Play.’ This little series allows us to showcase our bakers creativity and share a classically French pastry. Some of these have included Ispahan, St. Honoré, Paris-Brest and more. Keep an eye out for Bakers Play!

Does Le Panier serve coffee?

Oui oui! We proudly serve Caffé Umbria coffee for our espresso and drip coffee. And our La Marzocco espresso machine keeps our coffee beautifully consistent.

Can I order ahead?

We accept Special Orders at least 24 hours in advance and request 48 hours in advance for larger orders. Holiday ordering schedules may vary!

Can I order treats for my party, meeting or small wedding?

Absolutely! Our full menu is available for your next event. We have some curated menus to help get you started as well. We love a good party so we’d be happy to work with you to provide recommendations!

Do you make cakes for birthdays?

Yes! However, we just have one cake - our D’Orsay. It’s decadent chocolate mousse cake that can be decorated with a short message custom for your birthday or event. We also highly recommend our tartes or a selection of macaron or pâtisseries for another fun option for any celebration. Transport your guest of honor to France without a passport.

Where do you make everything?

We bake everything on-site. From mixing doughs to forming croissants, finishing pâtisseries and baking we do it all right at the bakery. We love our spot at Pike Place.
